Barre3 North Shore - Bannockburn is expanding its instructor team. We are boutique fitness studio offering total body workouts combining strength, cardio, and mindfulness. We are looking for amazing individuals who have a passion for fitness and embrace whole-body health, community and connection. The barre3 Instructor is an integral part of the barre3 studio experience and responsible for leading and delivering a remarkable barre3 class and client experience. Instructors should have a growth mindset and be reliable, a team player, and comfortable speaking to clients.
HOURS and AVAILABILITY:
Instructors are expected to teach an average of four classes a week and maintain a consistent schedule (this is approximately 6 hours per week). Instructors are responsible for being present and on time for their scheduled classes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Prospective instructors should have a familiarity with barre3, exhibit confident body energy, strong musicality, and be comfortable speaking in front of people. Instructors are expected to be a proactive communicator and a team player. We expect our staff to help foster a positive, kind, warm, and diverse workplace. Previous experience as a fitness instructor is not required but appreciated. Individuals with skills in teaching, performance, and dance tend to make great candidates.
EXPECTATIONS:
Prospective instructors must pass the barre3 Audition process and meet the requirements for New Instructor Training. During training, instructor candidates must be available to meet with the studio’s instructor mentor 1x per week (virtually or in person) during their New Instructor Training. This training period is unpaid. There is a training fee that is shared by the candidate and the studio owner. W e expect that our instructors will be employed with our studio for a minimum of 12 months from certification.
COMPENSATION
Instructors are paid by class, not by the hour. Pay rate is tiered based on experience and is at the owner’s discretion.
